Bio:

An exec of the Humanis Policlub in his spare time, Sebastian DeVries III promotes a “humanist” agenda whenever he can. He lives in the suburban Renton district, where social conservatism reigns, and he is able to drum up support for the current Brackhaven administration. Professionally, DeVries is a middle manager for Ares, making a daily commute by AirTaxi to the blue collar district of Everett. There, he is known for his unofficial workplace attitude towards metahumans and their sympathizers (which his subordinates largely agree with.)

To accomplish his racist goals, Sebastian has hired a hacker named Malachi Constant several times to launder money or retrieve sensitive information. Unbeknownst to DeVries, who has only interacted with Malachi via the Matrix, Malachi is a dwarf who has subtly thwarted his attempts to oppress that race. Mal has several favors he can call in from this well-connected bigot, whether sharing corporate rumors or conspiracy theories, gathering intel on rivals, or sending in a goon squad to beat up or intimidate a metahuman victim. Given the proclivities of the Brackhaven administration, Sebastian may be able to gain intel from the gubernatorial office, or perhaps even influence a political decision. Malachi must tread a fine line, for if DeVries discovered that Mal was not only not a sympathizer, but not human, their relationship would change drastically.
